The library has an approximate total of 12200 children's titles in various formats. These include books, VOX books (books that talk), CDs, CD-ROMs, magazines, paperbacks, and audiobooks. The Children's collection includes books for elementary readers as well as books for young adults and teens. The check out period is two weeks with renewals allowed. There is a limit of fifty book titles and seven audiobooks that may be checked out. Includes Accelerated Reader, German, and McNaughton subcollections as well as the following:
  • Fiction: Around 4000 titles. Shelved in the Children's Room.and Youth Area.
  • Nonfiction: Around 2500 titles. Shelved in the Youth Area.
  • Easy Reader: Around 5700 titles. These are predominantly picture books with limited text (e.g. Dr. Seuss or Franklin the Turtle books). Shelved in the Children's Room.
